Two Instructors needed to teach adults with developmental disabilities in vocational and life skill tasks. One position is for our Lompoc location the other is for our Santa Maria location. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, use hands to type and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Use a 2-person lift, lift and transfer consumers weighing up to 150 pounds. And aid in mobilizing consumers weighing up to 170 pounds. VAFB GROUNDS WORKER

This position requires a qualifying disability. When performing the duties of a Grounds Worker, the employee is responsible for a variety of grounds maintenance tasks, safety, and quality of work performed. Hand tools may include rakes, hoes, machetes, fertilizer spreaders, aerators, and brooms. Power tools may include string trimmers, blowers, edgers, push mowers, chain saws, and wood chippers. Must be willing to work in varying weather conditions, shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Must have ability to follow verbal directions, understand written or verbal operation procedures. Benefits. M-F 7:30-3:30

CREW SUPERVISOR

Crew supervisor needed for our boutique in Lompoc. Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Experience in retail work is preferred. Valid driver’s license for 2+ years and an insurable driving record per VTC insurance carrier. Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs. This position works alongside and gives guidance to a crew of 3 – 6 adults with disabilities in performing their daily job tasks. Job tasks include stocking, cleaning and cashiering. This position is part-time and has limited benefits. |
